Race Information

We have only 19 places left and will be closing as soon as they are filled

The Run to the Sea Ultra Marathon (RTTS) takes place on Saturday 28th March 2020, following the Castleman Trail for part of the way from Ringwood to Bournemouth and then up to the unforgettable Hengistbury Head.

The 50km point-to-point course will include a variety of terrain, including wonderful forest trails and coastal paths.

Registration will be either Friday evening at Hengistbury Head OR at the start in Ringwood on Saturday morning.  You have the option to park at the start and make your own way back afterwards, or park at the finish at Hengistbury Head and book the bus transport to the start.  Then your car will be at the finish waiting for you.

With plenty of feed stations along the route, you don't need to worry about re-filling water bottles, etc.  We'll even take your own nutrition out to the feed stations for you, if you prefer to use your own tried and tested food.

You can use this as a  perfect intro to ultra-running, an opportunity to challenge yourself to a great 50km run time, or simply just enjoy a fantastic run to the sea!

Team Challenge (optional):  Your team of five can be any combination of males/females/age categories.  The first team with five over the line wins.  You can choose whether to run together or separately

We want to try to be as plastic free as possible, therefore will not be using plastic cups at feed stations.  You have the option to buy a rather nice UltraViolet silicone cup (squashable and very easy to carry) when you enter (£3) or use your own.  You will of course still be able to fill your water bottles!
